About This Role

Summary of the role

As an MI Consultant you will be responsible for the creation and embedding of the overall Diligenta standards that will be utilised across all accounts, this will require processes, good governance and client interaction at pan account level to embed; the go forward ‘One Diligenta’ model.
  
The purpose of the role is producing, designing, developing, and maintaining MI reports to provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders to support the Operational Management of the multiple areas and client accounts. This included analysis to support operational decision making and improve operational performance.
The overall MI Reporting structure helps business leverage data to gain insights into their operations, identify trends, and make strategic decisions. 

Please be aware that the role is available in the following locations: Edinburgh, Bristol and Peterborough.

What you’ll be doing
  • Produce/Oversee timely MI reporting in line with any contractual or internal target date limitations including ad hoc and bespoke data requests
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all MI reporting
  • Produce and maintain MI reports in alignment with the company’s goals and present data in a variety of formats
  • Evaluate and present business requirements in context to MI reporting based on engagement with stakeholders including data analysis and data interpretation
  • Ability to resolve complex problems
  • Propose and design MI solutions and enhancements and lead all elements of change
  • Develop and implement any change where required to enhance the MI reporting
  • Consult and lead with stakeholders to implement any MI reporting changes or enhancements
  • Train and develop MI analysts and specialist and support users of MI systems and reports
  • Competent to Lead Projects, should be able to govern the projects and accountable for ongoing activities
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with MI reporting and accuracy
  • Coordinate and standardise MI within and across client accounts including understanding and implementing Industry best practices
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent qualifications
  • Expert in reporting techniques
  • Experience with using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI or equivalent)
  • Experience with Data Modelling / Pre-processing
  • Experience with MS Access/SQL data manipulation
  • Proven experience in analytical / statistical environment
  • Master’s degree in related field is desirable
