About This Role

Summary of the role

As an Operational Governance & Change Control Lead, you will be part of our Operational Change & IT Team, reporting to the Operational Governance & Change Control Manager, and will closely collaborate across multiple centralised teams, business leaders, clients and 3rd party suppliers.
Responsible for maintaining and improving ways of working, operating within a highly complex and regulated environment to administer effective governance and change controls to support our front line operational teams during periods of change to maintain excellent levels of customer service.

There are roles available across 4 different workstreams and people will flex based on team needs 1). Reporting 2) Risk & Control & Benefits management & 3) Change control process.

What you’ll be doing

Work directly with the Central Change Team, Client, IT, 3rd party suppliers, Front and Back-office teams, to support the governance, planning and control of operational change projects
Assist in developing the operational change roadmap to ensure that change affecting our operational teams is planned effectively, and that all key milestones, contention, dependencies and risks are identified and documented.
Lead and coach direct reports to source data inputs required across a range of areas including change impact assessments, benefits tracking and produce governance reports
Working with the key stakeholders to identify and plan necessary resource involvement to successfully deliver change projects, whilst also documenting and reporting potential risks and issues
Manage necessary frameworks, processes and documentation to exceed minimum requirements and to protect and report on Service Levels across operations
Apply change management processes and tools to support the business to successfully deliver strategic priorities

What we’re looking for

Educated to A level or equivalent experience and / or
relevant Industry qualification
Planning / PMO
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - (an excel skills assessment will be given at interview stage)
Strong interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain relationships
Highly organised with a proven ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
Solid understanding of change and governance processes
A fast learner who is adept at problem solving and conflict resolution
Ability to negotiate and influence people to deliver without direct authority.
Resilient and work well with changing priorities
Proven track record of managing projects /programmes
Experience of management and motivation of a team
Experience of managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes /topics and build credibility with professionals from other disciplines
Knowledge of FCA regulations
Six Sigma · Accredited at PMO or Project Management discipline e.g. P3o, Certified Project Manager, APMP, Prince2 practitioner, ISEB, ITIL (Desirable)
Developed and implemented change and governance frameworks. · Business case development (Desirable)
